Cesar C

Cesar Corrales is a Cuban-Canadian ballet dancer and Principal of The Royal Ballet in London. Born in Mexico and raised in Canada, he trained at Canada's National Ballet School and built an international career through major ballet institutions, early theatre experience, and leading classical roles.

Cesar joined The Royal Ballet at the beginning of the 2018/19 season and was promoted to Principal in 2021. Before joining the company, he danced with English National Ballet, where he rose through the ranks to principal dancer. He is also known for his early stage work in Billy Elliot the Musical, a role that connected his technical power with theatre and character performance from a young age. His background includes recognition at the Prix de Lausanne, where he was a prize winner in 2013.
