Lucio V

Lucio Vidal is an Argentine multidisciplinary artist, dancer, choreographer, and performer whose career spans contemporary dance, ballet companies, and visual performance. Born in Buenos Aires, he began his professional career with Teatro General San Martín before continuing internationally with São Paulo Companhia de Dança, Compañía Nacional de Danza in Madrid, and Staatsballett Berlin. His repertory background includes work shaped by choreographers such as Nacho Duato, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, and others.
In 2015, he joined Staatsballett Berlin, bringing with him a professional history rooted strongly in contemporary and neoclassical company work. This background gives his movement a broad physical vocabulary, combining ballet structure with contemporary dynamics, musicality, and theatrical presence. Lucio's artistic practice has continued to expand beyond repertory performance. His work includes dance, choreography, performance, visual collaboration, and experimental ballet-related formats. Through Berlin Ballet Company, he is connected to interdisciplinary projects including contemporary and electronic performance formats, where ballet and current cultural environments meet.
Lucio's work connects Latin American origins, European company experience, contemporary repertory, and a multidisciplinary artistic voice. It is suited to contemporary performance, ballet-based projects, movement direction, fashion films, music videos, theatre, editorial work, and productions requiring emotional depth, physical imagination, and international stage experience.
