Thomas M

Thomas Martino is an Italian dancer, choreographer, freelance artist, and rehearsal director whose career connects contemporary dance, ballet institutions, and international stage work. Born in Italy, he began his training in Caserta and later studied at Lachance Ballet in Rome. In 2011, he joined Agora Coaching Project under the direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli.

From 2011 to 2015, Thomas worked as a freelance dancer with companies including MM Company, Fabula Saltica, Palermo Danza, Duende Company, and others. In 2016, he became a member of the Ballet of Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich. Since 2019, he has danced with Ballett Theater Basel. His repertory background connects him to choreographers including Richard Wherlock, Ed Wubbe, Mauro Bigonzetti, Karl Alfred Schreiner, Alexander Ekman, Sharon Eyal, Bryan Arias, and others. This gives his work a contemporary European profile shaped by both institutional company structures and freelance creation.

Alongside performing, Thomas works as a choreographer, freelance artist, and rehearsal director. His choreographic activity includes Lighea, listed in the history of the International Choreographic Competition Hannover.
